Cookies & Log Files:

Like most websites, www.LoudSiren.com uses cookies and web log files to track usage. Cookies and log file data are used to enhance and/or customize your experience on our website.

A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer and allows us to recognize you as a user when you return to our website or web application using the same computer and web browser. You may set your browser to inform you when cookies are being placed on your computer and, therefore, have the opportunity to decide whether or not to accept a cookie. If you decide not to accept a cookie or if your browser settings do not allow cookies, you will not be able to use the areas of our website for members or enrolled users. LoudSiren uses the information it collects through the use of cookies solely in the administration, provision, and improvement of our website and our services.

One type of cookie, known as a “persistent” cookie, is set once you have logged in to your LoudSiren account. The next time you visit the LoudSiren website or LoudSiren web application, the persistent cookie will allow the LoudSiren website or web application to recognize you as a previous visitor or user. In order to access or change any of your personal information (e.g., a phone number, a credit card number), you may be required to log in again with your password and Personal Identification Number (“PIN”) even if your computer contains a persistent cookie. Additionally, if you log out of the member-only areas of the LoudSiren website, you will need to re-enter your password and PIN the next time you visit in order to log in.

Another type of cookie, called a “session” cookie, is used to identify a particular visit to our website. Session cookies expire after a short time or when you close your web browser. Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when you visit the LoudSiren website or LoudSiren web application, LoudSiren automatically receives the URL of the website from which you came and the website to which you go when you leave the LoudSiren website or LoudSiren web application. LoudSiren also receives the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the Web), information about your computer operating system and the type of web browser you are using, and the name of your Internet Service Provider (“ISP”). LoudSiren may use this information to analyze overall trends to help us improve our service, but LoudSiren does not link this information to personally identifiable information in any way.

Children:

The LoudSiren website, LoudSiren web application, and LoudSiren services are intended for use solely by adults (i.e., individuals who are 18 years of age and older). Children are not eligible to use our service and should not submit any personal information to us. If you are under the age of 18, please refrain from using the LoudSiren website, LoudSiren web application, or LoudSiren services. If you are an adult and believe that your child, or any other minor, has submitted personal information through this website, please contact us by clicking the “Contact Us” link at www.LoudSiren.com or by mail at the address below, and we will remove that information as soon as possible.

Information Use

The Identity Protection Network™ is an online web application and web service dedicated to preventing and resolving issues related to credit identity fraud. LoudSiren collects certain types of information in order to provide and improve our service to you and to other consumers. LoudSiren, LLC, and Debix, Inc., are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.

LoudSiren uses your personally identifiable information to activate and maintain your enrollment in the Network, and to carry out your instructions and provide specific services requested by you (e.g., requesting fraud alerts with the credit reporting agencies, registering with the National Do not Call Registry, reporting fraud to law enforcement).

LoudSiren Communications:

LoudSiren will communicate with you through email, through notices posted on this website, and via telephone. These communications include a series of welcome, verification, and informational contacts that are part of the enrollment process and that help to inform new users about various features of LoudSiren’s services. Please be aware that as long as you are a registered member of the Network you may receive certain emails related to the proper functioning of your account. LoudSiren may send you promotional emails about LoudSiren products and services. You may “opt out” of receiving such promotional emails by sending a request to info@LoudSiren.com.

Customized Content:

Any information you provide during enrollment or in your profile may be used to customize your experience on our website.

LoudSiren will transmit all information it receives from you to Debix where it will be processed, stored, and maintained by Debix at its secure facilities in Austin, Texas. Debix’s Privacy Policy is available at http://www.debix.com/privacy.php. Sharing Information with Third Parties:

LoudSiren takes the privacy and security of customers very seriously. As a result, except as provided herein, LoudSiren will never sell, rent, or intentionally provide your personally identifiable information to any third parties for any purpose, including marketing.

After your personally identifiable information is transmitted to Debix, Debix may share your personally identifiable information with third party service providers engaged by Debix to provide services to Debix. For instance, Debix may use a credit card processing company to bill users for enrollment fees. These third parties are not permitted to retain, share, or store any personally identifiable information except to provide services to Debix and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements that limit their use of such information. Except as provided herein or as required by law, LoudSiren is not responsible for any services offered by these third parties, including, without limitation, any policy such third party may have regarding the privacy of your personally identifiable information. You should consult Debix and these third parties regarding their privacy policies for more information.

LoudSiren may share your name, employee number, member number, or other similar number assigned by the third party, with a third party who has paid for your enrollment fee (e.g., an employer or merchant following a data breach).

LoudSiren and/or Debix will share your personally identifiable information with third parties as necessary to carry out your instructions or to provide specific services requested by you. For example, LoudSiren and/or Debix will share your personally identifiable information with:

  • credit reporting agencies to request fraud alerts on your behalf;
  • law enforcement agencies as part of an investigation of alleged identity theft;
  • insurance carriers as part of a consumer’s insurance claim;
  • financial institutions and credit card companies in conjunction with a credit request;
  • The National Do not Call Registry to have your phone numbers listed.

Except as provided herein or as required by law, LoudSiren is not responsible for any services offered by these third parties, including, without limitation, any policy such third party may have regarding the privacy of your personally identifiable information. You should consult with Debix and these third parties regarding their privacy policies for more information.

LoudSiren and/or Debix may share your personally identifiable information with a third party in connection with a request by law enforcement when LoudSiren and/or Debix believe there may be a misuse of our website or our services in order to investigate a possible crime.

LoudSiren and/or Debix may share your personally identifiable information with third parties in connection with a change of control, merger, or sale of all or substantially all of LoudSiren’s and/or Debix’ assets.

Legal Disclaimer:

LoudSiren and/or Debix may need to disclose your personally identifiable information when required by law. We will disclose such information when we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a court or agency order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on LoudSiren and/or Debix, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

Singular Summary & Aggregate Statistical Information:

LoudSiren and/or Debix may share “generic” demographic and other data regarding users of our services. This data does not contain personally identifiable information, but may describe information regarding group usage of the service and/or group demographic information.

Accessing & Changing Your Account Information

You can review the information you provide to us and, unless otherwise indicated, make any desired changes to the information that LoudSiren and/or Debix retains in its custody and control or to the settings for your LoudSiren account. You may review and change information at any time by logging in to your account on the LoudSiren website and editing the information in your profile, or by calling Customer Service.

You can close your account through our website and request that LoudSiren remove your personally identifiable information from the databases maintained by LoudSiren and Debix. You can also request that your account be closed in writing by notifying us at the address indicated below. While LoudSiren and Debix must maintain certain personally identifiable information in order to administer the LoudSiren system and services, resolve potential disputes, comply with official investigations or proceedings, and enforce LoudSiren’s agreements, that information will be maintained for limited purposes and only for the time period required under applicable law or the then current internal data retention policies established by LoudSiren and Debix.

Security

LoudSiren and Debix utilize a wide range of advanced technologies for Internet and secure interactive voice security, including multi-band, multi-factor authentication, data encryption, and database data encryption. When you attempt to access secure areas of our website or sign into the Identity Protection Network™ web application, Debix will authenticate your identity with patent-pending technology.

Debix protects all personally identifiable information submitted by you via the Internet by using a secure web server, which allows your web browser programs (e.g., Netscape Navigator/Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) to interact with Debix' web server via an encrypted session. Debix uses a Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) connection that provides an encrypted connection between your computer and Debix. The 128-bit encrypted connection scrambles ordinary text or data into cyphertext to safeguard your information as it is transmitted over the Internet. The information is decrypted (i.e., put back into a readable format) when it reaches its intended destination.

In addition, certain information (e.g., your password) is encrypted and stored in a database using a "one-way hash" meaning that the data cannot be unencrypted and can only be used to verify the validity of the information once the correct information is provided to Debix by you.

The Identity protection Network™ associates with each Network member a unique user name, password, phone number, and PIN that must be entered each time a user signs in. The Identity Protection Network™ web application and www.Debix.com issue a session cookie to record encrypted authentication information only for the duration of a specific session. The session cookie does not include the user name, password, or PIN of the user. Neither the Identity Protection Network™ web application nor www.Debix.com use cookies to store other confidential user and session information, but instead implement more advanced security methods based on dynamic data and encoded session IDs.

In order to protect user information submitted to LoudSiren and Debix, the Identity Protection Network™ web application, www.Debix.com, and www.LoudSiren.com are hosted in a secure server environment that employs state-of-the-art firewall and other advanced technologies to prevent interference or access from outside and unauthorized inside intruders.
