Completing the enrollment process normally takes about 3 minutes. During the process, we will call you at a
phone number you give us to allow you to record a
Voice Key
and select a secret PIN number.
Step Two: Once Your Enrollment Is Complete
- Upon concluding the enrollment process, you will be assigned your own personal LoudSiren Safe Phone Number.
- LoudSiren electronically sets a
fraud alert
for you with each of the three major
credit bureaus. The fraud alert tells creditors that they must confirm your identity
before extending credit in your name. We will automatically renew your fraud alerts every 90 days
for as long as you suspect your identity is at risk.
- Your name will be removed from pre-approved credit card lists, which are a major source of identity theft.
Step Three: Notifications and Credit Reports
- Within 2-3 weeks of enrollment, the three major credit bureaus (Experian, TransUnion
and Equifax) will send you confirmations that your fraud alerts have been set. Each confirmation
will provide you a toll free number to call if you would like to receive a free copy of your
credit report.
- About the same time you will receive a letter from LoudSiren outlining your rights as a
consumer and providing you with a wallet-sized card containing your LoudSiren Safe Phone Number that
you should carry with you.
